Why standards

Two-sided markets fail when either side cannot tell what it is buying or who it is dealing with. These rules apply to every listing, buyer and Transaction. Enforcement may include a request for information, a hold, delisting, suspension or referral.

Identity and KYC / KYB

• Complete the organization profile with legal name, registration, jurisdiction and authorized signatory.
• Provide beneficial-ownership information and complete sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening when requested. The exchange reuses the NeoBank screening program.
• Keep the organization and signatory information current; re-verify on a risk-based schedule.
• Do not share accounts, sessions or Agent Tokens outside the organization.

Seller standards

• Know the data you own. Document the source, collection method, consent or other legal basis, and the right to license.
• De-identify before upload and attest to the method. Identifiable data and protected health information are prohibited.
• Describe coverage, gaps, exclusions, schema, refresh cadence and known limitations.
• State the licence, term, territory and exclusivity. Do not claim rights you do not have.
• Offer a sample when the buyer needs to inspect format and fit.
• Deliver the committed file and answer verification questions.

Buyer standards

• Verify your organization before requesting access.
• Describe the cohort and the permitted use in the mandate.
• Accept the DUA through an authorized human; an agent may prepare but not accept it.
• Verify the manifest root before accepting delivery.
• Do not re-identify, resell outside the licence, or use the Data to harm individuals.

Transaction standards

• Keep negotiation, approval and delivery on the exchange so the audit record is complete.
• Do not ask for or accept off-platform payment to avoid fees.
• Use the dispute path rather than withholding payment or data silently.
• Report a listing that appears to contain identifiable data or a delivery that does not match its manifest.

Enforcement and appeals

We may request evidence, restrict a listing, pause a Transaction, suspend an account or report a matter to the appropriate authority. A production program will publish appeal and remediation timelines. Repeated or serious breaches can result in permanent removal.

Report a concern

Use contact and select Trust or Security. Include the listing, Transaction or organization and enough detail to investigate; do not include live personal data.
